Suttle , very smooth, a loud explosion in one ear a long annoying ring in the other the next second. Whats next bullets flying through the air shattering helmet visors slapping into the skin? No, to late for that either. Once the bomb went off they started shooting right away. A few machine gun nest where nuzzled out of site into far off buildings. We proceeded inside for cover the convoy already left not to long ago and orders where to keep heading to base to pick up any additional supplies needed. To bad though, the heavy equipment out side was already hit by RPG's and we where down to twelve men. The building we ran into seemed to be a hotel. A lobby with pictures of flowers and what seemed to be the owner hanging over the help desk. We threw the couches in front of the door way and what ever else we could find for cover.

"Lt. Kragen!" Said a soldier running up to me taking off his helmet.
He slammed his back against the wall next to me.
"H.U.M. are begging to advance." He said breathing hard.
"What did base say?" I stared at the entry way wondering how long we had till they came busting through.
"We dont have long, the Nest spotted us a few moments back. They held fire to let there troops advance."

I looked at the solider grabbing his helmet and slamming it into his chest.
"Tell the men to find a way into the swears and set the building with some charges, bring it down when they search the building!"
I ran towards some of the crates we brought inside ordering them to take what ever was useful. I opened one of the crates taking out a H.R.L. (Hive Rocket Luncher) I ran past a few soldiers grabbing onto Private Meno's arm taking him with me.

"Sir?" He said grabbing his rifle as a jerked up towards the stairs.
"Where going to take out those Machine gun nest."
He looked at the H.R.L. nodding. As we ran for the stairs we could hear the Nest going off shooting at what ever other units where on the ground. When we reached the fourth or fifth floor we found a window that was set perfectly at the two buildings. But down on the street bellow the H.U.M. Advanced but where busy with some of the Partarga that they let infest the city.
"Alright... Meno." I pointed to two buildings that the Gun fire came from.
"In two minutes I want to let one round off and then run back down with the others, you got that!" He looked at me asking what I was going to do. As I ran off I said I was going to make them aim hire. I ran up another flight of stairs heading for another window. Looking out I see the rocket go of into the distance breaking apart as eight individual missiles where resealed. I began firing from the window with my rifle at the buildings. Two missile where shot down before there direction came towards my side. The impact of the rockets caused a few levels of the buildings windows to shatter. But one Nest still remained shooting at my location. I turn to run with large bone like scissors threw me back into a wall leaving a large scratch on my chest plate.
